Mountain Bike the Peak District

Bring your mountain bike, the Peak District has plenty to offer.

Mountain biking the Peak District can be anything from the Dark Peak, Jacobs Ladder, Edale, Rushop Edge, Deep Valleys and High Hills, mud and rocks to the more sedate Tissington Trail, High Peak Trail, or Monsal Trail near Bakewell.

Not got a bike? Hire one from Parsley Hay visitor centre just down the road, or we can usually lend you one.

Prefer to cycle in Derbyshire? We have lots of cycle routes to help you enjoy your stay. Cycling in Derbyshire is mostly hilly!! Try going towards the Staffordshire Moorlands, Chatsworth, Goyt Valley, Froggatt and Curbar.

Carsington Water from here is a flatter 30 mile loop using the trails.

Nicola rides a road bike and a mountain bike and can help with routes and terrain.

We also offer fully catered mountain bike holidays staying along the Pennine Bridleway as part of the Pennine Bridleway Trails. Dinner Bed and Breakfast, luggage transfer are provided along with a packed lunch.
