TWIN ROOM: IDEAL FOR FRIENDS OR SMALL FAMILIES

We offer a light and comfortable twin room with two beds and a private bathroom. For that home from home feeling we provide a proper bath with an overhead shower, soft towels and bubble bath for added comfort. A hairdryer and ironing facilities are also available. It’s great for friends on a weekend break or families with children next door.

RELAXING LOUNGE AND DINING ROOM TO UNWIND TOGETHER

We’ve designed our lounge to be the perfect spot to relax after a day outdoors, with comfy sofas, a glowing log fire and lovely views. Whether you pick up a good book, tackle a jigsaw, enjoy board games or TV, there’s space for everyone to unwind. In the dining room, we keep the breakfast bar stocked with tea and coffee, add wine glasses for cosy evenings in, and have a warm log stove ready to help dry wet clothes after countryside adventures.

BREAKFAST THAT FITS YOUR PLANS AND TASTES

We love making breakfast work around your plans, serving it at the time that suits you, just let us know the evening before. Enjoy local sausages, bacon and black pudding, plus fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice and warm croissants. It’s the perfect chance to chat over routes, check maps by the log stove and ease into the day at your own pace before heading out to explore. Available until 9 am unless prior arrangement has been made.

At the end of a long 20-mile day, four weary travellers couldn't have asked for more!! Cosy, home-from-home accommodation with two downstairs rooms for our sole use, with all tea and coffee facilities and a log burner kicking out the well-needed heat. Horses had a paddock with ample grass for food and rest during the night, and we had lovely warm, comfy beds. The host was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and we instantly decided we would be back with the horses for many more stopovers en route to and from our adventures! Highly recommend.
