MORE THAN JUST A ROOM FOR THE NIGHT

Our setting near Oldhams Wood Campsite gives you another useful option if you're travelling with friends or family who want different ways to stay. You might choose a guest room for extra comfort, while others in your group keep the campsite in mind for a more outdoorsy trip in the same beautiful part. We use locally sourced breakfast ingredients, and that makes the morning feel properly rooted in the area rather than rushed or forgettable.

People often mention the warm welcome and the relaxed feel here, and that's exactly what we work hard to keep. When you're heading back from Buxton after a day out, that kind of calm matters more than people think.

MODERN YET TRADITIONAL

WHY THIS KIND OF STAY SUITS THE AREA

A well-placed guest house makes exploring easier because you can spend less time driving and more time enjoying what you've come to see. We keep things simple, comfortable, and welcoming, which matters after a long walk or a full day around Buxton. Our rural setting gives you a quieter night's rest than many busier town centre options. That balance between access and peace is a big part of why people return to this part of Derbyshire.

A COMFORTABLE BASE FOR YOUR BUXTON BREAK

Finding the right guest houses in Buxton often comes down to comfort, location, and a place that feels easy from the moment you arrive. We welcome you to Arbour Low B&B with en suite rooms, a dedicated guest lounge, and views across the Derbyshire countryside that help you slow the pace a little. Staying with us gives you a handy base while keeping you close to Monyash, Bakewell, Chatsworth House, and Haddon Hall.

We're also right by Arbour Low stone circle, so you can step out for a walk without planning a full day around the car. If you're travelling through Buxton for walking, cycling, or a quiet Peak District break, we give you the sort of stay we're proud to offer. Buxton is close enough for days out, while the surrounding landscape gives you the peace many larger town stays can't.

A friend and I had a lovely, restful and comfortable stay with Stephen this Summer Solstice. Really clean and beds comfy, super quiet, and the location couldn't be better for Arbor Low sacred site, which has incredibly beautiful energies. Breakfast was wonderful too, and we felt really welcome. This is a farm location with everything you need, but don't expect a boutique!
